Video Production

Art comes out of the forest to find me.

I just give it a voice in our language.

Short Films

Dreamy, sometimes surreal, and deeply sensorial, our short films exist in the space between narrative cinema, experimental film, and music video.

Inspired by the likes of film legends Akira Kurosawa and Hayao Miyazaki, our storytelling is rooted in instinct-driven filmmaking, blending cinematic composition, editorial sensibility, and improvisational direction. While our foundation includes early training at NYFA Los Angeles (2016), with hands-on production on the Universal Studios lot and post-production work in Burbank-based editing suites, our creative language has been shaped equally by real-world experimentation, independent production, and adaptive, low-resource filmmaking environments.

Our background spans Digital Film Production studies in University of the Sacred Heart, Santurce, Puerto Rico, collaborative short film development, spontaneous location shoots across coastal and urban landscapes, and early training in 2D animation using Adobe Flash. This hybrid foundation allows us to move fluidly between formats: short films, music videos, branded visuals, and experimental video art.

We specialize in intuitive cinematography, on-the-spot composition, and improvisational directing. Rather than relying heavily on pre-structured shot lists, we approach each project as a live visual exploration, working with available light, natural environments, and real-time creative decision-making. This allows for a high level of adaptability while maintaining strong visual identity, framing, and movement.

Our work is particularly defined by:

– Minimal dialogue and emphasis on visual narrative

– Symbolic imagery that emerges organically rather than being forced

– Editorial storytelling shaped in post-production

– A strong crossover between cinematic language and music video structure

– Sensory-driven pacing, texture, and atmosphere

Many of our films function as visual poems or narrative fragments, pieces that suggest meaning rather than explicitly defining it. In this way, our short films often exist as standalone works while also feeling inherently translatable into music video form.

A central philosophy behind our process is the belief that storytelling is not always constructed, it is revealed.

This approach aligns with a lineage of filmmakers who embrace the subconscious as a creative tool. We draw inspiration from directors such as Akira Kurosawa and Hayao Miyazaki, whose work demonstrates a balance between structure and intuition, discipline and surrender.

Our creative process often begins with a loose conceptual anchor, an image, a location, a feeling, rather than a fully scripted narrative. From there, we allow performance, environment, and camera movement to inform the direction of the piece. The editing process then becomes a critical stage of authorship, where rhythm, juxtaposition, and visual continuity transform raw material into cohesive storytelling.

This method has been applied across independent short films, collaborative projects, and visual work with artists such as Claire Delić, as well as various emerging musicians across genres including indie, folk, and reggaeton. Whether working within structured productions or spontaneous shoots, we maintain a consistent focus on emotional tone, aesthetic cohesion, and symbolic depth.

Technically, our work incorporates DSLR cinematography, digital editing workflows, color grading, and motion-based visual composition, often executed in fast-paced or resource-limited environments. This constraint-based approach has become a defining strength, allowing us to produce visually compelling work without dependency on large crews or traditional production infrastructure.

At its core, our studio exists to explore the intersection of instinct, image, and meaning.

These films are not always meant to be explained. They are designed to be experienced, felt, interpreted, and revisited.
